Here’s an update on the weed alert that we sent out about Clusia Rosea in March. Coolum Coastcare advised me that fourteen plants were found in the Coolum Resort. They are checking around the perimeter for any other plants and will send out a press release to the Sunshine Coast papers, including Noosa News, so keep an eye out for an article. (Here’s hoping it gets a run).
This is a wonderful example of organisations and people working together to take proactive measures to preserve our bushland and increase community awareness. Thanks to everyone in the chain. We do make a difference when we work together!
