It’s time to revisit the beautiful swale area down at Beach Access 46 on Tristania, just north of the Carpark.
This is where we first discovered the garden escapee Ardisia. The council contractors have done a sweep through our bushcare area from BA 45-7 primarily attacking pepper trees and umbrella trees. I was surprised to see in their report that they weeded just as many Ardisia seedlings as pepper trees. Ardisia loves the wet, so the chances are you will find some there after the rain. We need to keep on top of this emerging pest.
