Peregian Creek is Calling You

So, my fellow bush bashers, another year is upon us and there’s a pile of weeds awaiting us, with the two months break enabling Gloriosa Lilies to flourish, and Singapore Daisy to sneak back in, as well as the ongoing advance of Asparagus Fern.  We have our first venture down by the creek this Saturday, the 4th, at 8:00am at Beach Access 49.

We need to tackle the Singapore Daisy down towards the beach by the creek and on the foreshore.  However, it may be a bit hot for that so we can concentrate on Asparagus removal between the boardwalk and the creek, back towards the road from where we finished last year.  We can try both crowning and just cutting off the fronds with hedge clippers.

See you there.
