The creek is furiously flowing, all the way to the sea, which it hasn’t done for many a month. So come down and check it out and also do a bit of weeding.
We are meeting along beach access 49 at 7:30am this Saturday, the 18th. I thought we would make it a bit later as that seems to suit more people; and you have a choice to work on the Asparagus between the boardwalk and the flowing creek or put out Singapore Daisy down where we have been solarizing it.
Joel and his crew were in pulling out Singapore Daisy from the creek around David Low way and the footbridge. They got some 2 cubic metres, then went to work on the Asparagus and cleared about 80 sq m. Hopefully we get them back to do some more work on the Asparagus in the near future.
