Hi All,
We’ve invited Sandy Bolton, Noosa’s Member for State Parliament to the Marcus Beach Bushcare May working bee in May at the main beach access at Marcus Beach. (Sandy’s a bit of an old hand at weeding Gloriosa Lily.)
Saturday, May 11 at 8.30 am,
Beach Access 47,
Tristania Drive Carpark
Marcus Beach
All welcome to join us for weeding starting at 7.30 or for morning tea at 9.00 am
A grant from Sandy’s office enabled us to pay for some much needed IT work on the Noosa Coastcare website.
About the Noosa Coastcare Website
Marcus Beach Bushcare Association established the Noosa Coastcare website in 2015 as a community resource to help people find out about the coastal habitat, learn about gardening with the native plants of our region, to assist in identifying local weeds, and to provide links to other information sources about the environment.
A dedicated group of volunteers created the site, maintain it, and generate content. Noosa Coastcare’s Google rating and the site’s high use, attests to the quality of the resource we’ve created. So thank-you to all who’ve work on the site.
Even with all your good work, from time-to-time we need to do some additional IT maintenance. We were able to improve the security of the site, fix up broken links and make the site function more efficiently thanks to a grant from our Local State Member Sandy Bolton.
Performing backend IT maintenance, though it doesn’t directly affect the appearance of the site, is important to its overall health. Thank-you Sandy for enabling us to keep a useful community resource functioning at optimum level.
