Planting on the Marcus Creek this Saturday, 7.30 am.

Lattice Stinkhorn (Clathrus ruber) photographed at BA 45. Pretty, but don’t touch – smells like faeces or rotten meat

Hi all,

It’s been perfect weather for planting with all this rain around. The fifty tubes a few of us planted at Marcus Creek last week are looking very happy so we thought we’d put a few more Causarinas and Banksias in along the foredunes.
There’s an area to the south that the Council has cleared of Peppers which needs a quick weed and some plants too, so come along and keep the frontline dunes well vegetated as an insurance policy against these low pressure weather events.
