Peregian Creek Weeding

Well, we had such fun clipping off Asparagus Fern branches last time along BA48 I thought we could do it again at the same location, although you will notice more work has been done since our last February working bee. Landcare contractors turned up yesterday and they both cut and swabbed a lot of Broad-Leaf Pepper trees in the area, giving us better access, as well as doing some clipping of Asparagus themselves in the half day that they had on site.

So hope to see you this Saturday, the 7th March at BA48 (the corner where Tristania meets Calitris streets) from 7 am.

I checked out the state of things along BA49 and still looking good, though we will need to get back in soon to clean up some Asparagus regrowth south of the boardwalk, Para Grass along the boardwalk, and more of the Singapore Daisy in the creek.

Cheers,

Paul
