Next Saturday Dec 5 is a catch up working bee in lieu of our cancelled activities due to Covid. The weeds didn’t stop growing so there’s still plenty to do. (7.00am start)
Also a reminder that the MBBA AGM is on Thursday Dec 10 at 5.45pm at Peregian Beach Community House. The Talk by Javier Leon and drinks and nibbles follow.
If you are still in the mood for bushcare activities, come along to a Pandanus seed planting on Saturday Dec 12, 7.00am, meeting at the Tristania Carpark, Marcus Beach. There’s a talk by Joel Fostin who has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Pandanus, the destructive leaf hooper that attacks it, the wasp that contains the pest, and the many insects and animals that make use of Pandanus. Talk starts at 8.00am at the park next to the carpark.
