Come and join us this Saturday 24th Oct for Castaways bushcare at Beach Access 42. Note the new start time of 7 am. We’ll be working under the shade of the pandanus and casuarinas.
Landcare have been working hard along the creek and have unearthed many local species planted years ago that were subsequently smothered by rampaging Singapore Daisy. The creek will be quite transformed in the coming months as these and other native plants start to reclaim their territory. Come and check out the progress that’s being made!
Oh, and don’t forget our upcoming pandanus workshop and planting will be at Castaways Creek with Joel Fostin on Sunday the 8th November. I’ll circulate more info in the coming days.
