Paul Ryan was in Canada visiting his family when the Noosa Council awarded him the Annual Silver Spade Award for his tireless work as a Bushcare volunteer. When an MBBA Working Bee Sausage Sizzle at the Hawthorn Grove Playground turned into a sausage fizzle due to rain, a few weeding stalwarts adjourned to the cover of a veranda for a BBQ Breakfast. What better way to start the weeding calender than with an impromptu presentation? Congratulations Paul, a well deserved award.
