Composting Singapore Daisy

Composted/solarized Singapore Daisy, Peregian Ck.

Thought some might find it of interest.  At Peregian Creek I placed a couple of bag loads of Singapore Daisy on black plastic and then folded the plastic over and pegged it down.  A month later the photo shows the resulting composted/solarized material; completely dried and dead.

  1. Hi Paul, it’s Oct. 20022, I have been pulling and digging out Singapore daisies on the Gold Coast. Instead of filling a garbage bin of the weed I came across your exercise. I have also been doing quick 3 layered black plastic hot compost for years and will try this weed Thanks. David
