The Noosa Council is at the preliminary stages of preparing an Environmental Policy.
As a representative of the MBBA, I recently attended an informal meeting organised by Brian Stockwell for environmental groups in the region. Council staff present emphasised the importance of individuals and groups having their say at this early stage of the Environmental Policy.
Take a few moments to answer the two questions on the Council’s website re the most important environmental priorities. It’s broader than Bushcare, and I would encourage you to contribute as this policy will play a big role in the way Noosa develops in the future. By doing the survey you will also be in the loop for any information the Council disseminates as part of the consultative process.
Below is a copy of the information I received from Council with direct links to the various policies that are currently being considered.
Noosa Council values your input and is inviting you to have your say on some important projects that will help shape Noosa’s future.
The following is a short introduction to each project with links through to the project page on Council’s Your Say Noosa website.
