Bushcare Staff Changes: hellos and goodbyes

Harry spots a flowering Melastorma malabathricum in the ephemeral wetland near BA 46, Marcus Beach

Hi All,

Harry Hinder leaves the Bushcare fold at Council where he was doing Renata Newman’s job while Renata stood in for Ryan Heeney who has been on secondment. We are sorry to see Harry leave, but we will now see more of Renata at our working bees as she goes back to her previous position after being acting Bushcare Coordinator in Ryan’s absence. Welcome back Ryan and thanks to Renata for being the steady hand at the helm.

Harry asked me to pass on this message to you.

Hey group leaders

As some of you know, this is sadly my last day with the Community Bushland Care Program for Noosa Council. I just wanted to send all my thanks and best wishes to each and every volunteer in the program. The work you do is truly inspiring and I have loved each and every moment working with everyone from all across the shire. The connections and knowledge I have attained from working with all the volunteers will stick with me for a lifetime and I’ve been grateful for every day I have worked for Bushcare, no matter how tough or stressful it can get.
I can rest assured I will see many of you around the shire and I wish everyone the very best and to never give up fighting for a better planet for the future generations.
Please pass this message onto the rest of the group members.

Cheers
Harry Hinder

We wish Harry all the best. I’m quite sure we will see him in the environmental space for years to come.

Cheers,

Jude
