Back at Peregian Creek

We will have our first working bee of the year this Saturday, the 19th along BA49, starting at 7:00 am.

I feel we need to get down and work on the Singapore Daisy that has been running rampant towards the mouth of the creek. There is also some Para Grass down there that can be rooted out. Landcare has been working there and back on the creek bank near the footbridge over these last two weeks as part of our Coastal Connect project, but there is much more to do. If this gets too hot, then there is always more Asparagus Fern south of the boardwalk near the swale, and some baby Peppers.

Unfortunately Michele and Terry are away, so you will have to put up with lamingtons from me for smoko.

Cheers,

Paul
